I have seen Toterhomes and Showhaulers before, but this one was the nicest one I have ever seen.

I saw this when I got to work today, he was waiting for the security check point to open at the installation.

If you are going to be an OTR trucker, do it in style and comfort.

That isn't a over the road trucker's rig! No DOT stickers and no company logo. Has to be a private coach or race car hauler.

Ah but with that tractor weight he has to haul a specialized light load. Most OTR drivers have a tractor weight limit around 20,000# so they scale a 46,000# load. Standard 53' van trailer is 14,000#. 20k+46k+14k=80k legal limit

Normally a rig like that hauls jet engines, bed bugs (moving van) or hauls displays (car shows, museum displays etc...)

Nice way to live on the road. Probably $250,000 to $300,000. Tractor is around $140,000 these days and around $110,000 to $150,000 for the sleeper.

It does look like a racecar hauler. A relative of mine used to race Sprints in the midwest for a a few big name sponsers and he had a rig similiar though not as nice. However... it was plastered with racecar sponser graphics and the car number. This looks like a personal showhauler that is no affiliated with anything.

I would imagine that rig is carrying race cars or something like that in the trailer. The rig is too nice for over the road commercial trucking.

Would hate to see what that set him back, sure is a beautiful truck though. If I had to be an OTR driver this what I d want also.
