New RV TV show 11/17/19

Apparently there is a new RV show hitting TV on 11/17. It's called "The RVers" and will be on the Discovery channel at 8am. Made by the same guys who did "The Aviators" show on the same channel.

https://www.thervers.tv/

Not a lot of info but it does appear to be much more about living/using/tech/do-it-yourself and not the usual junk about staged tours/purchases. Here's hoping...

Stu! That was the name I've been trying to remember. He did a great show way back then.

All set to record. I have never heard of it until now.

With that, I do miss Stu. X-2

Hopefully this new show will be good and not the typical "reality" show Discovery and History channel like to make?

I agree-- I won't be wasting another 30 minutes of my time on that in the future.

It's my understanding that if you stream it, it's better. Less or no commercials and more content.

I watched Technomadia's posts as they originally aired it and you could read the heartbreak in their comments.

Watched it last night with the DW. It was OK. Didn’t care for the driving segment. He wasn’t having her watch the swing on the rear. And the push pull of the hands was crazy. Made it much harder to drive that way. I’ll
Give it a few more shows before I pass any real judgement.

just watched the recording and we thought it was ok...a 'B-' grade. we'll watch it again.

l put a stop watch on the commercials and i considered anything that was not content to be a commercial. i considered opening and ending credits as content. i also considered the second half of the program...the segment on The RVillage...to be content even though it could be considered a thinly disguised commercial. all that being said i clocked total commercial time as just under 10-min, 15-seconds. (10:14:39) out of a 30-min program.

First episode was ok. Not many will jump directly to a 40 Diesel pusher and the lady had prior experience with a 5er so her timidity was not believable. Commercials interesting.

Watched it. 15 minute programming. 15 minutes of commercials. Watch again? Don't know. There certainly will not be any regrets if I miss it.
