If you are just driving around killing time, places to keep away from:
1. Car Dealers
2. Casinos
3. Ghettos
4. Jewelers

All gift shops and art and craft shows! I just got finished with a trip on Hwy. 66 and I couldn't believe how many 66 gift shops there were!!

I dont agree with staying out of ghetto's as some of the best food is at restraunts in the Ghetto.

probably most other big cities too.

Unless it's the weekend of the Woodward Ave. Cruise or the Detroit Auto Show. Luckily most of the Cruise is in the burbs. 🙂

My doctors' office. I have more pill bottles in the medicine cabinet than you can shake a stick at!! Every time I go in for a check-up I seem to leave with a strange new prescription. Of course I don't just drive around till the next appointment but it's the best I could come up with.

I agree...we moved away from the city to have our peace and quiet.
Also:
1. all interstate highways
2. all cities larger than 5,000 people
3. all shopping centers
4. all touristy type destinations
5. all airports
6. all cruise ships
...need I continue...?!
