Question Regarding Purchasing thru Wholesalers

For those who purchased a TT/FW through wholesalers (RV Direct, RV Wholesalers, etc.), do the trailers come with full tanks of propane and a battery? I have a quote for a TT through RVD, and I'm trying to get my local dealer to match it. They are slightly above it, but part of their argument is they include full propane tanks and a battery, which wholesalers typically do not. Granted this is only an extra couple hundred dollars, but this never crossed my mind.

Thanks for all the replies. They are just over a grand more than RVD. They have been a decent dealership over the past 5 or 6 years to me, so I'm trying to make it work.

Thanks, I was going to say the same thing. What they are are internet dealers who do have one or more of their own retail dealerships where you will take delivery.

After my local dealer was a dud and my issues mostly have cropped up when I was between 500 and 900 miles away from home - I'll happily go with a wholesaler who is used to remote support vs. a local dealer who isn't (or in my case, sucks totally).

When talking to RVD they said they include battery and propane

There was a recent post about these wholesalers and most were positive stating they were easy to work with. Just call or email them directly for specifics to your quote. If you are within a grand or so between wholesaler and local dealer it might be wise to do business locally, most go the wholesaler route as they are saving several thousand $$$.
