In looking at there listing on goodsam I see site length 55, max length 55 in the listing I do not see anything about big rigs.
You are slamming Good Sam and they clearly did not call it big rig friendly
Look before you leap
UM, max length 55 sounds like big rigs should fit!

I disagree. A 40' DP with a 20' car is too long, much less a 45' with a pickup.
So does no one disconnect the toad when checking in? I would if I knew the length was iffy!

I will be buying the Big Rig Best Bets campground directory. We had one heck of a time getting out of our space at the KOA located at Harpers Ferry Md. If the people across from us was still in their space, we would of been stuck. Thanks for posting Sinterior.
I could not get out of mine the first and only time I went there. They put apish to hold the trash can right at the end of my site. I pulled in but there was no easy way to back out either. So out came the drill and spade bit and I pulled the hi lift jack off the jeep. You know they did not use concrete so I could replace it somewhat instead of cutting it off. Never went back there again.

A park that resembled the parking lot at Cowboy's Stadium isn't very attractive, even to the people with the big rigs. I expect it to be a bit of a challenge to manuever my rig into and out of sites, since I prefer parks with a bit of visual charm. But others obviously feel differently. It sure is hard to please everyone.
We're in a "Big Rig" park in TN for the night...sites are plenty big enough, but they have trees planted at the very end of the site where we need to make a left out of the site, and the site directly across from us has vehicles all the way to the road, which itself is not very wide...
Can't see us getting out of here without backing onto the road behind us...we're 41 feet and then the truck...turning radius ain't too great!! Oh well...sure isn't the first time...LOL!
