Any ideas on keeping the roof vents from rattling in high wind when they are open?

Thanks. I figured vent covers would work but do you get the same air flow from them?

Yes, they do reduce the air flow a bit, but not enough to make a big difference. Get the Maxx Air II's. The advantages outweigh the disadvantages of having the covers.

Air flow has never been an issue for us!

Same here, I have fans in my three and never have an issue with the fans either running or off; lots of air flow.

Nice thing with vent covers is that the vents can stay open in all kinds of weather even when the trailer is not in use.

Both TT's I have owned, before they left the lot had vent covers installed. It would be nice if the manufacturers would go ahead and install them prior to shipping the trailer. A must have.

Definitely roof vent covers. And they don't have to be MaxAir. There are sever good manufacturers out there. Fantastic vent covers for instance.

YES!!! Don't run with the vents open without them!

Have open in the wind, rain, wind and rain, anytime no rain comes in, lids don't rattle.

We were camped at Lincoln City, OR a few years ago in 70mph winds. They had us put our old Class C between 2 large Class A's in the RV Park to try to keep us on the ground. I thought that the roof vents were going to leave the MH. I kept plastic platters and duct tape ready to replace them if they blew away. That would have been an adventure!

We then installed MaxxAir vent covers and the problem went away.
