RV Camodes

I'll try to be tactfull about this but it can be a touchy subject. (Pun intended)

Is it just me or does it seem that RV camodes are made for just women and not men? I'm not overly indowed but it seems that my junk just doesn't seem to fit. It seems to touch unwanted places and/or water, unless I squat instead of sit. I'm sure that others must be encountering the same situation. Has anyone purchased a replacement camode to alleviate the problem? If so, what brand and model did you purchase.

I know that this is going to take the brunt of a lot of jokes, but it is a serious enquiry.

You can imagine the ribbing I have taken from my family, especially since my wife and two teenage grand daughters delight in showing the toilet to everyone and explaning why.
I originally replaced the plastic Thetford Aqua Magic 5 with a Thetford Style Plus which at first solved the problem but as I aged some items relented to gravity and the problem again reared it's ugly head (no pun intended). I then installed this:http://www.amazon.com/Carex-Health-Brands-Elongated-Hinged/dp/B008XMMCBM/ref=sr_1_29?ie=UTF8&qid=141.... Sorry I don't know how to make a short clicky. I know it says for elongated bowl but it works fine on a round bowl. It also allows you to use your current seat or any common household seat.

We have a Theford Area II, which is an elongated porcelain toilet that works like the one at home. However, it is larger than the original Sealand and may not fit in some coaches with tiny toilet rooms. We have a large, open bathroom and space isn't a problem.

X2

x3 We did have to make another hole further away from the wall to accommodate the water lines as this toilet sits slightly (maybe 2 inches) further away from the wall. The oblong toilet along with the oblong toilet seat fits everything nicely. This toilet took maybe 2 more inches away from the room area

one of the lighter foam filled ones might be more practical in a RV.

Good idea but 5.5 inches wouldn't be enough, maybe stacking 2 would work.

Ha, this might get deleted, but I'm reminded of a story or joke I once heard:

Two men were standing in adjacent urinals. One of them, trying to be macho, made the comment to the other, "Wow, the water sure is cold!" The other replied, "Sure is, it's deep too..."

when I heard that, they were standing on a bridge.

Dometic 320 and Thetford Aqua Magic Residence both have truly elongated bowls and seats

Other models also have them.......just have to shop around OR 'push down'
