Can we cover our solar panel? And if so is there anything we have to do first?

I would think a boat cover guy may be able to do this. We have a bunch of them up here that make custom covers for the bigger boats.

Are the top of RV covers completely opaque? Will panels charge at all if some light get thru? I've been wondering if I would need to put solar panel windows in the top if I used a cover. Craig
