Lake George RV Park They have a two acre dog park. They estimate 60% of their guest bring a dog. Off leash park with spray fountain for cooling off. Dog wash station. Dog treat vending machines. Synthetic turf. Large and small dog areas. Beats the heck out of most places that give you ten by ten spot out in the weeds to poop your pup. Maybe if other parks follow suit there wouldn't be so many dog complant posts.

Four Paws Kingdom is one of the best places we have ever camped. If we are even close I will go back! Hiking with your dog off leash, swimming with your dog off leash, Easter Egg Hunts just for your dog, what more can you ask for? Great place.

We stayed at LG NY this summer and it's a fantastic place. We loved it as much as our little Pug. Campground is almost as nice at the dog park. (arf, arf)

Bog dog? What's a Bog dog? Is that a dog from the south that grew up in a bog? Or, do they have a dog area in the park that is a Bog so the dogs can get wet, smelly, and have fun like dogs like to do? :B

It's the Lake George in New York.

Glad to get the news and I have learned about a bunch of parks in striking range, but it would have been nice if you had included NEW YORK someplace in the first post.

I know six Lake Georges and four camp grounds by that name.

Never mind a dog park. I want a nice dog kennel, like Williams, AZ. We fulltime. Dog is always with us. Our small dog has a small blader. If we want to be away for many hours, or even over night, we need a safe place for him to stay.

one great point is they have 'large' and 'small' dog designated areas.

I have a very small dog. I never use off leash dog parks cause of the big boys. one bite/shake my little dog is dead. simple as that.

I never trust other loose dogs. period. in fenced dog park or not. I walk my dog while camping. on leash, my control.

but this is an outstanding example of a nice dog park for sure.

At first I did not find pictures just drawings (map) but finally found them. Looks super nice but I have nothing to compare it to. Never knew there were dog parks anywhere, I suppose because the closest one to me after Googling is over 50 miles away & never seen one at a campground either. You probably will not see to many at campgrounds with them, for liability & insurance reasons, also as mentioned use of space. But we take ours walking the campground or on the beach when camping.
Looks to me the same as a human parks around here but brand new will be interesting to see what it looks like 5 years after wear & tear. Very nice.

Did any one actually click on the link and look at the pictures. Twice as nice as our human parks.

I guess after doing a Google search dog parks are for apartment & urban dwellers with no or small yards. ??? I have never seen one so guess my dogs have no need for one........ Apparently the closest one to me in my state is over 50 miles away so I definitely would not take mine to a dog park in a campground either. Have enough issues with others walking their dogs on leashes in campgrounds & people putting their faces in front of our dogs faces & having them lick them "kiss?" They might get my dogs sick ๐Ÿ™‚

I have dogs and I would not go to a RV dog park CG.

IMHO, JMHO it just increases the number of bad dog 'owners' all concentrated in one place.
