Steep entry

So, We went to cookout tonite, and they have a pretty steep driveway. As we were sitting in the left turn lane. A truck towing a TT drove up, and turned right into the driveway. I told Shay. This will not be pretty. As it went up the hill the rear stabilizers began to drag so hard that the tires actually began to lift. End result. The stabs BOTH folded so that the bottom pads were facing to the rear of the TT at a 90 degree angle. But the big F250 diesel drug it on up the hill

I hope they were going home. Because the stabs will need replacing before another trip is taken. So the point of the story. Just because the drive is paved, and you want to go in. Doesn't mean you can, well and not tear anything up. That was an expensive hamburger.

Oh, none around here so I have never heard of them.

They cook on a grill, and the food tastes much like it would had you cooked it in your own backyard. The burgers also have the same type of toppings as you would use. It is a really good place to go.

Doubt they would have come off without a cutting torch. They were bent so bad as to cover the mounting bolts. And they will not be run down.

It's interesting that he drug it up the hill and didn't remove the stabilizers before he drug it back down the hill.

Our driveway is really steep and can't get in or out without removing both the tongue jack and rear stabilizers. This is after doing a spring over lift on the trailer that give us an extra 6.5" of clearance.

So they went to the same cookout as you, how big of a driveway do the people have that some could show up with their RV.

Driveway is fine. However. There are cuts, and groves in the middle of the highway lane. It started dragging LONG before the rear of the TT got out of the road. The TT looked to be 30+ feet.

BTW we went in and had a burger. The TT left as we were sitting there. It drug on the way out as well. Just not so hard as the stabs were farther off the ground now.
