I am looking for some help in how to get my TPO roof clean. I have a 2015 jayco Eagle HT and cant seem to get the roof clean. I have used mild soap with brush, pressure washer, hand brush. It still has stains from leaves and from boots when on it wet and dirty. What can i do to make look new again?

Don't sound so defensive there fella. I'm not worried, just amused. Do what you need to so. I'm grateful for people like you keeping the economy strong. Spend away, wash away, worry away. I'd rather use my time enjoying camping, playing with my kids or out on the boat. You do what's right for you.

Best response ever...

I always feel a little chuckle when I talk to people that either feel the need to wash the roof or polish their black tanks. Seems some people have too much time and money on their hands. God bless them, I wish I had the time and money to worry about those things!

We bought our TT last year and had it delivered to our seasonal site. We leave it at our seasonal site year 'round. After 2 months on site, I went to clean the roof. It had gotten really dirty between delivery and that day. However, it wasn't pure white when we took delivery. I spent hours cleaning it and didn't get it very clean.

Now I just use a soft brush and water. I spend about an hour and remove the surface dirt and don't worry about the stains. This year I cleaned the roof about a week after we opened up for the season and then again a few weeks before we closed it up for the season. I know it's clean, just not pure white. It was actually quite a contrast when I put down eternabond on all of the roof openings.

The best and only answer to your question is Magic Eraser. The regular not the kitchen type. Just did mine yesterday and it is snow white with very little effort. get 2 big boxes and your done. Gonna seal it today.
Please PM me with your thoughts after you do it.

I follow Winnebagoโ€™s recommendations, so your roof may be cleaner than mine.

โ€œโ€ข Wash the surface with granulated household cleaner mixed in a solution with water.
โ€ข Using a soft-bristled brush will work more effectively than sponges or cloth.
โ€ข Stubborn stains caused by oak leaves or pinesap can usually be removed with a kitchen cleanser containing bleach.
โ€ข Always completely rinse soap residue from both the roof and sidewall surfaces to prevent streaks.โ€

I do it once a year.
Use a big rag mop with soapy water and get it all wet. Wait a few minutes then lightly rinse it off with a pressure washer.
Nobody sees it except everybody who come to my place. It's parked downhill of a long driveway ๐Ÿ™‚

Thank you all for your input. I do wash a few times a year. I will just have to learn to let it go.

A cheap spray cleaner with bleach from the dollar store will bleach out the stain color.

If you can find it.

Xtra Duty C made by Apter Industries.......that will clean it like the day it was made, but its really strong stuff and you have to dilute it a lot and be really careful. Wet the roof, dilute the super C 50/50 with water in a small spray bottle and spray a 3 x 3 area at a time, let sit for 30 seconds, a quick brush and rinse with lots of water. Do not let it dry on the sidewalls. Do it in shade.

Once clean keeping it treated with 303 every 6 weeks or so will make it much easier to clean the next time. Buy a gallon of it and use a sponge mop and a 10' step ladder. It takes 15 minutes max. Dont worry about cleaning it. The 303 will stop a lot of stuff from sticking until the next yearly cleaning.

It's all generally a PITA.
