What a Great Idea!

We were recently at a music festival and camping was sort of free for all in an area. (Not Free- 17$ 0HU).

A neighbor put solar lights where his tie downs for the fly of his teardrop were. I copied and did the same for the strings that held our screen house from blowing away. Nobody got hung up all weekend.

If you buy the cheap ones without a switch, you can turn them off by cutting a short piece of cable tie and thinning one end so you can shove it back in where the pull tab came out.

Wrong subject. It should have been "Two great ideas."

There are usually plenty of glow-sticks lying around at those events that can be tied to your cords as well, ha ha.

By the way solar lights come in assorted shapes and sizes,, Starting at 1.00 in the dollar store and going up from there.

ALL of them have easily replaced batteries as well.

My lights didn't make it through the night either until I replaced the off-brand Chinese AAA rechargeable battery that came in them with a good quality name brand battery.

I'm glad you asked I didn't have a clue either.

Thanks for clarifying.

I didn't have a problem understanding what the great idea was. He made it very clear.

The great idea is alive and kicking for tenters as well. Solar lights or glow in the dark para cord for guy lining seems to be the norm:).

Good idea. I tie orange surveyors tape to lines. I've even tied the tape to other people's guy lines if they are near a walkway I use.
