Worst/Best RV products you have found

Some products are much better than expected and some a big disappointment. Please post some of yours findings. One of my favorites is my Alpenlite 5th wheel. they are built in Washington and are rare in the eastern U.S. Very good quality and 100 gal fresh water capacity and 100 gal gray water. One of that bad things I found are RV manufacturers, mainly 5th wheels that send new rigs out the door with inadequate tires. Blowouts seem very common. Thanks

Stupid tape type guages for propane tanks. What a waste!

I am back to when the stove does not work I am out of gas. Go outside & change tanks. Refill empty at soonest convenience.

I have the same. Works great. Though on mine, the elbow is closer to the RV connection, hence reducing the strain on the plastic spigot.

The Camco 90 degree elbows so that a water hose on the city inlet doesn't torque the fitting off, plus it keeps it from leaking.

Not sure I understand this one - I have read that it allows the hose to hang straight down so you get less kinking and the hose holds up longer over time. But you still have to attach the water hose to the elbow though, so how does this help with leaks and protecting the fitting?

Oh lawsey. The TP police are gonna hop on you now. We just finished another "one, true toilet paper" thread in one of the forums recently.

Best RV products:

The Camco 90 degree elbows so that a water hose on the city inlet doesn't torque the fitting off, plus it keeps it from leaking.

The clear plastic Valterra sewage sleeve to know when finished dumping or not.

An external 12,000 mAH USB battery. Charge it in the truck or by generator in the day, let it keep my devices topped off at night.

My Yamaha 3000 watt iSE generator. Very heavy, but is nice and quiet, and works.

Worst RV product:

RV toilet paper. Normal TP that passes the water glass test is cheaper and more usable.

Best:
I picked up a propane lighter. Its a little gun shaped zapper you can use to ignite propane burners & pilot lights. WAY better than lighters.

Rhinoflex sewer hose. This one came with my trailer, but I'd buy another one for sure. Don't have to worry about 'leaks'

A better shower head. Pretty well anything is better than what the trailer came with.

Residential kitchen faucet with pull out sprayer.

Over the door organizer for the bathroom.

Worst:
Flushable moist wipes. NEVER EVER put these in your black tank! They take FOREVER to get out. I made that mistake a few years ago.

Do you have a link for this? I'd love to see what it looks like.

No link but here is a pic, the splitter is just starting on that stump and the 4# hammer with the yellow handle is behind that:

I know others really like the Oxygenics shower heads, but neither my DH or I liked it at all. I think maybe if we had gotten the hand held type, it may have been better. We gave ours to a friend that wanted to try it. They also gave it away.
Or maybe I got a lemon.

My favorite purchase? I have many but I think...the solar lights I put on the sides of the steps. These are the kind you see for deck steps, the light is projected down and lets me see exactly where the steps are. I attach them with Velcro so they are easy to put on and remove.
