need help with finding a worm gear to repair my landing jack

Unless you buy a used unit and disassemble it I don't think you'll have much luck just getting the screw. You'll probably need to buy an assembly with the screw already in place.

I bought a new one from Lippert Components(LCI) on-line. Got them real quick. They come as a whole kit.

Depending on the brand you might be better served replacing it with an after market leg. They are more expensive but seem to be a bit more robust.

What brand? If its a Venture Mfg, they have excellent service and decent prices. I agree, a new leg might be faster and easier.

You're a millwright - make one. Personally, I would buy a new jack, about the time you fix the worm gear something else breaks. Likely the worm gear will cost you 75% of what a new jack will cost.
