loud flame in Norcold fridge

Norcold R800801 2 was fridge, the flame is pretty loud, almost sounds like a barbecue grill burner on medium high setting. My last fridge was much quieter. There is a valve in the gas line, is there a way to set it up? The previous owner was a self proclaimed rv expert I can see him messing with it. If i turn the valve to half it sounds better but and less the flame goes out. Am I just paranoid?

Don't be fixin what ain't broke.
My NC was quiet and not real cold, until servicing,.....new burner and all. Now its noisy.....like a propane torch, flame looks good..... and cools great. A service tech said everything was perfect.

I am not familiar with that model, but the 1200 burner sounds like a hand touch. I have one that's not as loud as the present one, and they are identical in the look of the flame, and mechanically are identical.

This with 11" WC measured static and under load. I don't like it either but that seems to be the norm.

The burner slots don't seem rusted and the flame seems to be like the one on the right

Also along with checking burner assembly you should have Propane pressure checked.......S/B 11" WC with at least 50% of propane appliances in service.
Is it time for your medication or mine?

Do the "burner area tune-up". Could be something as simple as a piece of rust restricting air flow.

If, problem remains, check propane pressure (manometer)-- there is no separate regulator for the refrigerator, so if your regulator is off, pressure to the refrigerator will be off.

Burners seem alright. Fridge is cold. I guess of it burned too hot the evaporation process would screw up and the fridge wouldn't work...

how cold is the fridge ?
is it working properly ?

what do the stove burners look like when lit
what about the WH flame

check everything, maybe there is an LP regulator problem
maybe there is NO problem
and that is just the way it is
I can explain it to you.
But I Can Not understand it for you !
