New "friction hinge" exterior door

Our new toyhauler has these new "friction hinge" exterior doors. The door for the forward living area works alright. It operates with reasonable force and stays at any position. But the second door into the garage area is way too stiff. I can open or close it, but it takes a lot of effort and I can feel and hear the stress on the door, hinges and door frame. Something will fail eventually. So I'm wondering if there is some way to adjust the stiffness of these "friction hinges"? Anyone have some experience with this issue?

Subsribing.
We have a TT on order that has these things. I don't like them at all and would subvert them if possible.
