A request from your new mod

Hi. Maybe some of you have noticed but Reddog1 (Wayne) is no longer moderating the TC forum and I volunteered to step in. Full disclosure, I don't own a TC (motorhome) and my DW won't let me get a pickup truck (had a beautiful 67 GMC with the big V-6 years ago tho). Regardless I'll do my best to keep the discussions on track and civil.

One request: when posting pics, keep them under 640X480 resolution. If you use the rv.net photo posting site here it automatically sizes the pics.

The issue is that some browsers hide the scroll bar in everything but full screen mode and large pics scroll the text off to the right where it's hard to read.

Keep a file with the description of the pictures and the link. I think you mean hobby. As far as your real info, you've probably given away too much already.

I hesitate to link pictures from my private albums, as that can lead to finding my album and real personality.
There is a lobby on this forum, that track members personal life and even I already gave them too much, I don't want to make their job easier.

It's no problem posting pics from your own site. Just make them 640X480 when you post them here. I think the rv.net posting site is another volunteer effort and there probably won't be any big enhancements made.

Hopefully us nomadic-atitude TC'ers won't stray too far from the rules and give you a hard time. Just as our type of RV gives us more freedom than other modes, we do stretch our conversations... Rein us in but hopefully it won't rain on our camping parades.:B

BTW- you are stepping in as a new Mod... Is the compensation pay good? I am looking for a less stressful job soon and wonder if moderating will be enough to cover my camping expenses? 😉 🙂
