Adding ac but keeping fantastic fan

So I'm wanting to add ac to our 04 okagaon 811sl. It looks like it's prewired, there's a yellow 110 cable behind the power box not attached to anything. The problem I'm having tho is we do lots of camping that doesn't have shore power so I'd like to be able to keep the fantastic fan for those times. We also tour around sometimes and leave the dogs in the camper so I need it to keep them cool in there. Any tips on how to proceed are awesome.

Also on a side not I'm not afraid of cutting or wiring anything. I've already rebuilt the front overhang wall and I used to be in construction and I've wired my basement so neither of those areas I'm shy of doing.

The fantastic fan in the bathroom will move air just as well as anywhere else in the camper, as long as the door is open.

My concern with cutting a new hole is, where do you cut it so as to not compromise the framework? It would be awful to start cutting, only to encounter a roof support and not be able to adjust the hole's location because of an interior feature such as a partition wall or cabinet.

We have A/C and the fantastic fan. Our fan is also located at the rear of the camper by the door. Believe me, crack open a few windows up front and that fan moves air. Honestly, because of how effective the fan is we don't use the A/C very often. I'm guessing it wouldn't make much difference between it being placed in the bathroom or elsewhere.

Swap it with the Fantastic and then install the A/C where Fantastic was.....provided AC power is available up there.

14" X 14" opening needed for either fan or A/C
This is what I did, but I used a Surflo fan. I installed a MaxxAir cover over over my Surflo fan. I seldom close the MaxxAir vent, it does not รคllow rain or wind in the TC. If I want fresh air in the TC, I slightly open windows and pull air through the TC, allowing for complete circulation. If I really need to vent the bathroom, blow air out with fan on high.

When I replaced Fan-Tastic Vent with AC I cut in new hole to reinstall the F/T.
We do have a rear vent by back door but centered in camper seemed optimum for air control
- but really it was for the light it gives that we wanted it to stay middle of camper.
My older thread of install, second post actually cutting in for new vent.

If AC out and you can place F/T near would allow extending the 12v for future retrieval near to where hole will be added.

I have the AC midships and the Fantastic Fan to its rear by the door. It draws air in from the Cabover hatch cooling the rig just fine for the dogs. if I need more airflow I open the bathroom vent and turn on it's fan

Yeah we have one in the bathroom, would that be adequate cooling the whole camper? Thinking maybe cutting hole in above kitchen and fishing wires and sticking the fantastic there.
