Boy, what pieces of **** these things are! Came new, stock, on my 2014 RAM. I've only got a little over 7K miles, and they are pretty much worn out. I suppose there is some kind of warranty, but I knew going in that stock tires are useless. I guess it's time for some Coopers or Hankooks...

The Cooper Discoverer H/T Plus, they were absolute junk in the rain. All I had to do was touch the gas in the rain and the back of truck was heading for the curb. The rear of the truck wanted to come around to the front. I had to put the truck in 4 HI anytime it was raining.

Discount suggested swapping out to Yokohama Geolandar H/T G056 and they were a little better but not by much. So I ponied up the cash and went to the Defenders. No problem with traction so far just lost some fuel mileage.

I got 70K on a work van driving on interstates and 2 lane state hwys mostly. Not much city type driving. did pretty good on dry, rain wetted roads. not great for snow, slush or wet dirt/mud type environments. Doubt the AT version is much better.

Don,
which Cooper did you have? I've had a number of the AT Coopers, no issues, a set of CTD's before they quit making that style. Not impressed with the 19.5" traction on my dumptruck a number of years back......otherwise, I am happy with that brand of tires. Had 40 on different trucks, trailers etc when I had a few more running down the road than I do now.

I wouldn't put a Chinese Hankook tire on my skateboard...if I had one. Hankook's are Krap. Bought a set of 4, for my gooseneck because it don't get used much. Tossed the tread on 2 in a year.

Yep you are the only one I have seen that has had any issues with the Transforce tires. Wish they had can stock on my truck. As for the Coopers had a set of them for one month and had Discount remove them. Zero wet traction at all!

Folks happy with Transforce HT or AT tires are awfully few and far between in my neck of the woods. You can get them as takeoffs for next to nothing on Craigslist. Junk.

I buy them as trailer tires for a 24K gooseneck trailer, they work fine for that. I would never put them on the pickup.

There is nothing good to say about the Firestone Transforce HT, OEM on the Ram trucks.

This truck came with the Transforce ATs. Theyโ€™ve performed well, except that theyโ€™re wearing fast. At 17k, they look to be 2/3rds done. This will be the last full season on these tires.

Understandable. The HT is a highway all season tread, the AT an on/off road tread. The more aggressive tread will always wear faster which is why most on/off road tires do not have a treadwear warranty.

I didnโ€™t expect them to last as long as the HTs. But theyโ€™re a pretty mild AT. I was hoping for 25-30k out of them, rather than 20-22k. Thatโ€™s all.

Lucky you my OEM Transforce HT's went 28K ,and were down to the wear bars. Now have the Toyo AT2's . No Michelins for me learned my lesson.

Too many geezers, self appointed moderators, experts, and disappearing posts for me. Enjoy. How many times can the same thing be rehashed over and over?

OEM Firestones are garbage. I milked mine up to 25k or so and they were cracked and bald. Bad traction doing anything but going down a warm dry highway.
