As far as having a local dealer, there are lots of folks here that have bought TCs quite a distance from home. IMHO, I have very little use for a dealer after the sale.

But look at the Arctic Fox 811 or the Eagle Cap 850 before settling on the Lance. (you haven't heard that from anyone else, have you :W)
