Just bought some Black Streak Remover, just wondered if any one make their own and how they made it or what they used.

Thanks for any info.

Going to try and get camper cleaned up this weekend for a long Father's Day Camping Weekend next weekend.

I have a silly question. A couple of weeks ago, I thought I would be smart and used Black Streak Remover on my roof. Later that day, I looked up RV roofing, and found that I had an EPDM roof and learned how to care for it. I hope I didn't do it any damage.. Doesn't seem to have any petroleum distillates in it. Did I do a bad thing?

My logic was that if it cleaned up streaks caused by dirt on the roof, it should clean up the roof as well.

Of course, I won't be doing it again, but it worked pretty good.

I thought so to. I used it and was like "Wow, lemon pledge really did take off the black streaks". In reality it just sort of hides them as they return and you can start seeing them within a few days. I was in CW last week and picked up some black streak remover and this stuff does the trick. On sale for $5.99.

Full strength Awesome will damage paint if left to dry. Be careful with it! It does wonders with black streaks though!

Year # 10 using good ole Lemon Pledge. Still have to use a good wax once a year, but for touch up, I can do the whole RV in an hour.
Full timing it since July 2012
