My daughter was getting a little warm in her bunk during our last camping trip, so I decided to put her a fan in to keep the air flowing.

I had been wanting to add a 12-volt fan to the main living area anyway, so I decided to tackle both jobs today. A trip to Wal-Mart for two fans($8.48 each) and we're halfway there.

She picked the spot, and I got to work -

I picked up the power from her overhead light. All I have left is to install a short piece of wire cover and I'm done -

I added one in the main area -

I dropped by Lowe's and found this cool soap dispenser. I also just installed these Pop-a-Toothbrush holders -

I added a sopa dispenser to the kitchen area as well. I also installed a Pop-a-Napkin under the radio -

Here's an easy mod. I found this over the door towel rack at Walmart and it works great -

I have to agree with her. I'd feel like there was a Rave going on in the site, just add some glow sticks and house music. That, or the world's most powerful bug zapper.

Sorry to hear that Doug, My wife loves em and we can't wait to try em out. It's more for ambiance than anything and we won't have them on for more than a couple hr's a night if that. For some reason some engineer or designer thought it would be a great idea to put a White outdoor light right next to the door, I really don't want bugs in my camper every time someone goes in or out the door at night.
Everyone have a safe Memorial Day Weekend!

Good for her, I love dark campgrounds. It comes from growing up in the city where it was light 24/7.

My wife gets paranoid if I leave our flag light on too late or our patio awning lites on past 10 oclock....

I just got my China LED'S in the mail this week, and was wondering how everyone is installing them? (wire type, switch type, and switch placement)?

I wired mine up with 16 or 18 gauge wire. Can't remember off hand. I used thicker wire then needed so that if I want to change out the leds for something else the trailer will already be wired for it. I used a marine switch and mounted in the battery box.

Thats my plan too. The pic makes it look like they are on the vertical part of the frame. Long exposure time?

I mounted mine to the underside of the floor so you don't actually see the leds, just the light they produce.

And Fisherguy it's not as bad (bright)as the picture shows.

Too much for me, looks like a hover trailer! :W
I woulda gone for a 6-12" strip right inside the step myself, the ONE place you didn't put them!

We dry camp, usually have a white gas Coleman lantern hanging off the awning, the odd time we have shore power we use the 'porch' light.

Whaddya talkin about?
I can never resist temptation I suppose. I also run my clearance lights in the right settings. Depends on the resort we are at. I used to use rope lights but got sick of carting them around. These will require no extra storage so they should work out well. I would of got amber if they had it, then I could of run them while on the road! ๐Ÿ™‚ I went with white since the colors are to "rice burner" for me...
but you, you they look great on.

I ordered a bunch of those lights but I have been on vacation for a week & have a couple more to go. When I get home I will put them on & post a pic. I got the white light version. The colored ones were a bit to much for my taste. I am going to see if I can rig up a dimmer for them so I can adjust the light as needed. I am also going to experiment with adding them to my awning. They are so small I could roll them right up and never remove them.

Are those the led's with what looks like speaker wire for the power hook up? If by chance they are,let me know if they still work after a few miles on a wet road. And how fast some burn out.

Are these questions from a previous expierience? Mine have been through a lot of rain and couple trips and are still working so far. From what I have read up on these style lights they tend to burn out one by one faster then they should. Even the reviews from oz whatever site that was posted in this thread earlier said the same. At least ordering off ebay its not a big investment. Plus you will already be wired up if they do give you problems and you want to change.
