^^^^

Again, the truck in this photo with the bent frame is a Chevy Colorado, not a Ford Ranger.

I followed other members LINK who looks like covers the same incident.
In this case the guy drove the setup on dirt road at 40 mph and hit road bump. Close-up on Cheby frame indicate it was build with sheet metal.
Think metal wall studs you can buy at Home Depot.
Trailer axle broke too.

Only on rvnet would someone care enough to photoshop a bent truck with a camper on it to prove a point? Lol

Fwiw, all I see is tree branches in the background of the blowup.
And this is not an unheard of or impossible occurrence. That’s where pickup truck frames bend when someone tries hard enough to bend them with a cantilevered load off the back.
Back to your daily conspiracy theories....

Here is an enlarged portion of the original photo, the section between the top of the truck cab and the bottom of the camper. Look at the several areas that must have been made by a circular-brush tool to fill in the background. This suggests that area needed to be filled in after the camper-shell was rotated.

There are always people who swear it is true. I’m not sure it matters to most of us. We aren’t ever going to stress our trucks to that extent.

I saw this on the internet today and came here to post about it, but the post was already up, and the reactions didn't disappoint! My stomach hurts... not from the picture, but from the hilarity of these reactions! 😄

Nope. That last one is a Chevy Colorado. Not sure what that "Ranger" is all about.

I was reading about the Colorado breaking like that on the Expedition Forums - guy was wheeling in Nevada when that happened.

Why 5 foot beds should be eliminated.

I join the "fake" club.

The tan-colored trim along the bottom of the truck does not make a straight line at the point just behind the back door where the "bend" is supposed to occur. The rear part of the trim is higher than the front part. It's been Photoshopped.
