First hot threads on RV.net after release will probably be payload, MPG's, then the mandatory Ike Guantlet test.
Gotta wonder if Ford woulda released this truck if Ram hadn't come out with the EcoDiesel first.

Because not everyone needs a 3/4+ ton truck. You don't buy a 6 bedroom home if you only need 3 bedrooms do you?

OK....but I posted this about two years ago and just posted spy photos of the 3.0 diesel f-150 about two or three months ago along with a story saying Ford said the baby diesel is a go for 2018.

I'm not really a fan of the new refresh. I think the current design looks great but the refresh add's either an obnoxiously big piece of chrome across the grill or nostrils similar to Ram's latest design. I guess the body colored grill looks the best because it's more conservative.

Why not just buy a F250 with the 6.7 diesel motor, a lot more truck for about the same price. My F250 with the 6.7 gets 19-20 MPG, can tow 14,000 lbs, has 400HP, 800 Ft/lbs. rides like a Cadillac. We call it our Redneck Cadillac.
