I own one of the vehicles that was recalled (Envoy). The recall was for the SUVs listed in the last post that were registered in states that use a lot of salt on the roads in the winter. I brought the vehicle in and it took less than an hour to replace the door window/locks switch.
"The recall covers Chevrolet Trailblazer and GMC Envoy SUVs as well as Buick Rainier, Saab 9-7X and Isuzu Ascender SUVs, all from the 2006-2007 model years. Of the total 480,000 vehicles, about 443,000 units are recalled in the U.S."

If you just saw it on the news then you might want to state more info . I am pretty sure its a window switch on trailblazers that have lots of miles and corrosion. Take them in and get new switch.
What's this now? This like when they recalled the washer heaters? I gotta replace that yet, at least they didn't cut the wires like they were supposed to.
