15 years hopefully, will be happy to get 20 years and pass it on to one of my kids. Then buy my retirement vehicle. I've taken excellent care of my vehicles over the years and live out west, so no real issues with salt either. We'll see, all it takes is someone slamming into your rig because their head was down and reading their facebook postings on their phone or something.

I'm at 445,000 now.
At one point, I figured I'd replace by 250,000. Then 350,000. Then 450,000. Now I'm planning on 500,000. But with how much new vehicles cost, I'm not sure I'll even do it then...
It's a tough decision. I don't want a massive car payment, but it's also getting hard to keep up with repairs. Nothing major, but an endless list of small things that only make sense to DIY, if only I had the time.... Stuff like worn out door hinges, worn out lock actuators, lots of aftermarket wiring needed clean-up, carpet is starting to smell funny, front seats are worn out....

Yep and then I will put new wheels on it and go on down the road. I don't have the power and torque the new ones have but I have the best engine Ford made. None of that blue stuff, no ERG valve and no cat
You are most certainly correct that you have the best diesel engine Ford ever installed in a truck; Navistar made the engine. :B
