This continuous subzero weather is really putting a damper on my spirits. My truck tried to gel up on me this morning for the first time. Must have got some bad fuel. I need to be sitting next to a campfire somewhere. Booo.

Ok there, I got it out. Back to your regularly scheduled deep freeze.

Been thinking the same thing myself. We bought a new super duty truck this weekend so we'll have nothing holding us back when we hit those NW mountains and now all I can think of is "I want to go camping!!"

Good thing about the Pacific NW, weather doesn't change much on the coast. May head that way for some 50's.

Getting pounded with snow in nNortheast PA. Eighteen inches of snowpack and I am glad our hybrid is under COvered storage.

Yes. This is insane. It's only mid December and last night it was minus 4 F.!

If this is any indication, January and February are going to be brutal.

Never in my 53 years do I remember a November and December this cold.

Just left Bay City, TX and it was in the upper 30s low 40s got back home to South Florida and it is a balmy 72 ahh good to be home again!!!

Normally I love to camp and would like to full time. Camp, not stay in RV resorts. It has been so cold this month that I have not even thought about it.

I camped first weekend of december. We spent the weekend in Leavenworth, WA. The highest temp I saw was 18, and lowest was -2. Also, there was a few inches of snow on the ground, and snowed most of the Friday we arrived. It was a great weekend. :B

Snow on the ground here, and high temps for the day not getting above freezing.

So we are considering a quick getaway this weekend! Pull the rig out of storage and head out.

I have been going out every week and cranking up the heater and letting it run some. Since it is too cold to go camping, I have been starting to reorganize the inside cabinet stuff and trying to think of what we will need next camping season. I added a few things such as a cup holder on my side of the bed. Our RV dealer that was located about six miles from here is gone out of business, picked up a few things at 50 Percent off. Counting down the days until camping season begins.

Only another 4 months and we can get the TT back out and on the road again. Been keeping myself busy by checking out new CGs to inspect this summer.

Yeah, it's cold here in SE Ohio and SW PA. TT's are winterized and parked for the winter. Time to get out the skis and head for the mountain slopes!!!
