Idle/Drive Ratio

Just curious how my truck compares.

2015 Ram Cummins, just under 87k miles and I bought it new. I'm currently showing the following:

Idle: 95 Hours
Drive: 2736 Hours

How about you guys?

You are doing REALLY well!!!

I am at 350 idle and 2,348 drive, I am at 95,085 miles. I don't feel like I idle much. When I travel I never shut the truck off as in when I get fuel and hit the rest area. I never remote start mine or let it warm up.

8% idle hours (cold winter start warm ups) and average 68km/h or 42mph

Fun fact, I checked my 2020 work truck and I'm averaging about 45mph including idle hours and over 50mph just driving hours.

WOW! Less than 4% idle hours.

Well our 2016 currently has the following;
Idle 385
Drive 2,119
Miles 73,222

Idle is 18% of drive and15% of total hours.
Total average speed is 34.5 mph.

If I recall my idle time is about 1/3 of the total hours. Makes a difference if you live in the wide open spaces of Idaho vs the NYC metro area where I was living when I bought the truck....

You sure those are correct? 56,000 miles in 365 hours is 153.4 average mph!
Even 736 hours is an average of 76 mph, not realistic.
