We are seriously looking at buying a 31BHPR. It pretty much has everything we are looking for in a TT, the only cons we can think of with it is, it has curtains instead of solid doors for the bedroom and bunkhouse....that's about it.

Maybe because this one is so new, But i'm having a hard time finding any reviews or testimonials about them.

This is our first TT, i've rented a couple times and that makes us realize we want our own, we've been researching for months and have narrowed it down to this one.

Is there anyone out there that has any experience with the Bullet line that can give me their opinions?

MartyMoose, do you have any info on the axle that you ordered from the OEM Store? I "spoke" with them via email yesterday and they needed the serial number off of the axle, I searched for it on Sunday but couldn't find it. There was a sticker on the axle that I took info from and provided it to them. We think we have the right axle that I need but they need to verify it with the serial number...I just have to look harder I guess.

I ended up replacing mine myself. I purchased a bolt on replacement from The OEM Parts Store ( great service ) and upgraded to a 3in (vs 2 3/8in). The axle is still rated at 3,500 lbs as it still uses the same drums/brakes etc for the wheels, but it should be much, much stronger now. I did this for less than the cost to pull my camper twice to my dealer and it took me 2 1/2 hours to install.
The only parts needed where the new axle and 3in anchor bolts.
Ready to roll again. Will keep an eye on the front axle and do the same if needed. If I would have known it was this easy, I would have replaced both.

Tire covers are the way to go. I had to replace the tire on my last camper much to early because I didn't cover them. Lesson learned.

I just did the whole trailer in 303 uv Protectant on Friday... I feel much better about letting in sit outside now. The tire covers will be on the door step when I get home also. Now I just need to clean the roof and put a coat of 303 on that and I can know that I did what I can from the beginning of owning the TT to keep it up. :C

We just did that last weekend. We ended up going with three of these http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004107WB0/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00 instead of the other. They were cheaper and this will give us THREE beds. Our thought is we can use one in the hall/table area for an extra little when we need it. The pads are airing out now. We will see in a few days.

I have a 31BHPR and am thinking of taking out the bottom bunk and trundle bed. Would like to replace with a jiffy sofa. Any one try this? Cost?

I won't take credit for the idea, I got the idea from here and internet searches.

Accumulator tanks are steel tanks with a bladder inside them. The tank itself is pressurized so when you pump water into the bladder, the tank will provide 'pressurized' water for a while (about 15 toilet flushes if you have the time/patience to sit and count)

I added a 2 gallon tank that I purchased at Home Depot for about $50.00. I took the fittings off of the pressure side of my water pump and went to Home Depot with them in hand. I talked to the guy at HD about the fittings and found out they are somehwat 'special' but are the same thread/size as lawn sprinkler system fittings. I used a couple of steel braided water hoses (the ones that you might see UNDER your sink to tie the tank into the water system. So, to sum it up quickly, once you get required fittings...

Remove PRESSURE line off of water pump.
Install T to the bottom of the accumulator tank.
Install 1st new braided line from pump to tank.
Install 2nd new braided line from tank to trailer.
Basically, you are 'T'ing the tank into the pressure system.

You CAN put the tank anywhere in the system but I am glad that I put it right beside the pump de to the SIGNIFICANT reduction in noise which I personally blame on 'rattling' water lines. The lines no longer rattle because the accumulator tank provides even pressure.

We went out this past weekend. I unhooked from full service and ran the water pump for the first time after installing a 2 gallon accumulator tank this year. We could not believe the difference in noise.

I had already put a sponge under the pump but had to use a piece of foam insulation inside the water pump area to try to quiet down the noise it made before. Now that we have the tank, I had to shut off the ceiling vent fan to hear the water pump running..

Finally I feel like an official Bullet Premier owner! We made the deal in February, signed all of the papers in March and did the walk through yesterday. Tomorrow morning we pick up our "Baby Bullet" (19FBPR) and embark on a two day shakedown cruise. Only 7 miles from the dealer so if anything needs to be addressed we can easily return it for work before our longer trip in June. I've really appreciated all of the comments in this thread! They have helped us along through this whole process. I'm sure we will have lots of questions after our "cruise"

I use the same soap that I use for my car. Keystones owners manual states to use a mild household detergent, and that a conditioner is not recommended. And it is fine to walk on your roof, just don't wear your golf shoes.

To clean the roof I have a 10' A-frame ladder. I use a brush on a telescopic pole and do it right from the ladder. The brush reaches about 2/3 across so I just go right around the camper. I use rubber roof cleaner and protector in one. It works great and keeps it bright white.

What is your procedure for cleaning the roof? How often and is it ok to walk on it? Dealer said it was.
