We are seriously looking at buying a 31BHPR. It pretty much has everything we are looking for in a TT, the only cons we can think of with it is, it has curtains instead of solid doors for the bedroom and bunkhouse....that's about it.

Maybe because this one is so new, But i'm having a hard time finding any reviews or testimonials about them.

This is our first TT, i've rented a couple times and that makes us realize we want our own, we've been researching for months and have narrowed it down to this one.

Is there anyone out there that has any experience with the Bullet line that can give me their opinions?

Thanks!

Lighting in the Pantry
This may have already been discussed in this forum and if it has my apologies so please guide me to the discussion.

As Premier owners we all know the pantry is dark. I often use a flashlight to find things and want to light it with LED rope lighting. I'd like to use a plunge switch to turn it on and off, like a refrigerator switch so when you open the door the lights come on. Has anybody done a mod similiar to this?
I figure I can tap power from in back of the microwave but it looks like I'll have to pull the frig to run the AC line to the cupboard I'm not keen on doing that...

The wife and I purchased a 2010 Keystone Bullet 278 RLS, second hand with all options. My only complaint is the moisture build up and sitting in the window frame when it drops below freezing. I use a Absorber chamie to sop up the water. The other thing I dislike, the stove vent is ductless and discharges the heat and moisture to a vent above the microwave. Would really like an exterior vent. Otherwise, love the rig. Roomy enough for the two of us to spend 5 months living in it. We do work camp at a RV park near Glacier National Park for our summers.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all my fellow Premier owners :C!! And happy camping in 2013 :B !!!

Maxx Air vent covers are a must! First Rv only had one Maxx Aircover and I had two vents. Received golf ball size hail in MT. Destroyed the refer vent, rock guard and a hail stone punched thru the vent and on the floor. Maxx Air vents survived the ordeal. Plus, they are great on windy days....no vent flopping around and no worries of leaving a vent open traveling down the road.

After spending the whole weekend reading through 157 pages I am pretty well versed in the premier series. We are considering the baby bullet. We like many of the features but wonder if it can be had with the enclosed shower instead of the shower curtain.Guess that is a dealer question. I really like all the great mods I have seen many of the owners have fabricated. Hopefully in the next 30 days we will be on the list of happy owners.

Working my way through all the pages, going to take awhile but, our new 31 BHPR is in so we went today to take a look to be sure it had the options that we wanted. We like it even more than we did when we saw it at the Boston show. All of this might have been mentioned and I will get to it eventually but we like some of the changes that were made, the table is now oversized and is not wrap around, the 2 benches both have nice big draws for storage. The TV in the bunk room and kitchen is no longer a swival so each area will have it's own TV. The lower bunk is a gone and a futon type thing is there. The couch is leather (or leather like). We like the height, our currecnt trailer is a 2 stepper and the jacks are only 7 inches off the ground, the 31BHPR is 15 inches in the back and 12 inches in the front which is grea for us. We just love the look of it anbd cannot wait to get it home and ready for camping.

Congrats on the new Premier. I am jealous of your table, I have never liked U dinettes. The drawers sounds nice too under the benches. Not too much longer until the campgrounds open!

Anyone else get a recall notice on the front cap? I have a 2012 Bullet Premier 29RLPR and the notice came from keystone last week that some 2011 and 2012 premiers may not have enough fasteners on the cap and it could cause a water leak... I sure hope not. The last thing I want is anyone messing with the roof seam and seals... But what choice do I have.

Hi carjocky, we have the same make and model as you do and have not received a recall notice as of yet. What date did that notice arrive?

No notice here either. I have a 2011.

Are the frame rails strong enough to weld on a receiver to accept a tool box for firewood/additional supplies. Had anyone done anything like this if so any pictures?

I did a couple of mods this week, it has been a long time!

I added the Dirt Devil Central Vac system under the bed. It works great.

In the kitchen I removed the wallpaper border and added Smart Tile. It is a lightweight peel and stick tile that is very realistic. It is glossy and 3D. Here are some before and afters.

Great mods Greg! You must have that unit garage kept? Mine is sitting under its winter cover waiting until spring and then I'll be making a few modest mods on it like a real fan over the shower and adjustable shelving rails in the otherwise pretty useless closets on either side of the bed.

I didn't get any recall on anything yet. Ours is 2011.

We still have ours at a seasonal site and loving everything about it. We now have a huge deck along side of it. To date we've had almost nothing wrong with it but then again it's been parked most the time. I know moving it down the road would make some things show up. We can't wait for spring to come to get back out there! You can bet we'll be looking at our cap for any leaks!

Just wanted to pop in and say hello to the gang!

I haven't had that problem on my A/C with my 2010, but I did find something I would like to share. I removed one of my propane tanks to refill it and noticed the main feed hose running from the regulator to the steel line on the frame, was rubbing against the bottle mount lower frame.I found out a long time ago that a rubber hose is going to lose everytime it is against metal, and just to be safe, I added some chafe protection at the location. I could not see any damage to the hose, maybe I caught it in time.
