We are seriously looking at buying a 31BHPR. It pretty much has everything we are looking for in a TT, the only cons we can think of with it is, it has curtains instead of solid doors for the bedroom and bunkhouse....that's about it.

Maybe because this one is so new, But i'm having a hard time finding any reviews or testimonials about them.

This is our first TT, i've rented a couple times and that makes us realize we want our own, we've been researching for months and have narrowed it down to this one.

Is there anyone out there that has any experience with the Bullet line that can give me their opinions?

We bought our Bullet 28RLPR last September from Aborgasht in Troy OH. I travelled from Nashville TN to trade in our Forest River Cherokee and we really love this camper! We towed it down to Florida last October for a week at the beach and then used it again for another week for Thanksgiving. It has been wonderful and we are looking forward to 2012 with it! A couple of niggling things about it, while the picture on the flat screen is very good, it is too small while sitting in the reclining chairs. 2. the reclining chairs recline too much and 3. if you don't keep your cubby doors locked up front rain will seep into the bedroom along the walls on either side of the bed.

Hi all. I just wanted to check in as a new member. Thanks to all of you who have taken the time to post helpful hints, mods, and insights.

I am picking up a new 2012 Bullet Premier 31bhpr on Saturday that the wife and I bought at the Pittsburgh RV show recently. I am towing with a new F150 (6 cylinder Eco Boost) with the normal tow package. Wish me luck across the Ft. Pitt Bridge and tunnel.

We bought a pop-up last year but soon found that we needed more space. My 2 girls are looking forward to camping and having their own bunkhouse/TV.

Just a note, for the model we bought the TV in the living area was upgraded to 26" along with some other "comfort package" add ins. I guess this is often done in the winter to encourage purchases. I spoke with a Keystone rep at the RV show and he said that they stopped including the vacuum because it was causing too many circuit breakers to trip.

On a side note....has anyone tried the Timbrens Suspension Enhancement System? My tow vehicle should handle the weight of the trailer and cargo as long as we are reasonable with what we pack (we will have weight distribution and sway control)...but I am considering the Timbrens as a little extra insurance.

Thanks.... I really did not think we would be "moving out" of our Bullet this year but the trade in value was such a surprise and so good I felt like if I did not jump now the opportunity may not come around again. We almost broke even after only one year of ownership and almost nothing down when we bought it. The deal on the Komfort was just to good to pass up....

Congrats on the new rv. I'm sure you'll love it. 5th wheels do offer more. We're seasonal campers also but we'll still take ours down the road for a few more years and like the size for us to haul. Maybe in a few years we'll be getting something more for our seasonal site.

We wont have MORE fun than we had in our Bullet. That I am sure of 🙂 ........ But we will be a bit more comfortable with a bit more elbow room and privacy.

Well guys, Its been fun. Our situation has changed and our Bullet does not fit our needs as we need it to. We have been seasonal camping more and now that I have a 1 ton truck there really was no reason for us not to go to a larger 5th wheel. Today we made a deal on a Komfort 3530 and traded our beloved 31BHPR in. Hope to see you guys down the road.

I've found that I'm glad I have curtains instead of doors, takes less room, easier...when I wrote that post two years or more ago I was comparing it to other TTs I had looked at and most of those had doors, at the time I thought doors would be better, but I disagree with that thought now!

Is there any way you could have solid doors installed? It's worth checking if you really love the unit.

Happy New Year to all our Bullet Premier family. The camping season is just around the bend. Ya'll may recall that we keep our camper at a seasonal site. Makes for a great weekend getaway and still ready for us when we can travel. The people next door are leaving to do some volunteer work the next few years and giving up their site. The campground owners offered their site to us which has a 10x20 deck they are leaving behind. We'll pay a small fee for it but its nice and already built! Since we were considering having a deck built, we'll just move our camper over. So already something new at the campground to look forward to! Now just countdown to the time we get to open it up again and check for winter issues. This was our first year to seal her up by ourselves. Happy camping dreams!

My husband and I purchased a 2012 Keystone Premier Bulet 19' trailer this past year and have put over 3k miles on it. We love it! It is well designed with quality products. The floorplan is perfect for us and it has plenty of storage space. We got a great deal from Jamatt RV Sales in Oklahoma - they are one of the top 40 RV dealers in the country and had the best price by far than anything I had found online or here in New Mexico. We drove 750 miles to get it and think very highly of their sales and service team.

We bought a Bullet 278RLS this past summer and we love it. It is very well made and the decore is great. We would camp every weekend if we could. You will love the Bullet brand. Enjoy!

Mike, I hope I can answer your questions fully.

1) Go with a 10,000/1,000 hitch. This is an area where you can go overboard and have too much "Spring".

2)I'm not aware of any special brackets needed.

3)Yes

4)I think 20 inches is correct . I know it's somewhere around 18-20. Not sure why this would be a concern, you would set up your hitch system according to your weights anyway.

5) That truck will pull that trailer. I know, I did it for the first season that I owned my 31. By the time you get all of your gear loaded for camping, you will be getting close to most if not all of your weight limitations. Being in the military, you've probably heard the term "Pucker Factor". When I towed with this combo, my pucker factor was up there. Last year my wife and I decided to take a loss on our 150 and find a used 250 with a diesel. Best move I ever made! I can hardly tell the trailer is back there now...
Just take a close look at your weights. That will tell the story.
