Hennessey Chevrolet Silverado-based Goliath 6x6

If you’re a Chevy truck fan and looking for some new wheels, Hennessey Performance has six of them for you.

The Texas-based tuning and custom car company is now taking orders for its new Goliath 6x6 pickup, a Bowtie take on Hennessey’s Ford F-150 VelociRaptor 6x6.

Based on the upcoming, off-road 2019 Silverado Z71 Trail Boss, the Goliath gets a reengineered rear end with twin solid axles, an 8-inch suspension lift and a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 with 705 hp and 675 lb-ft of torque.

(An 808 hp upgrade is available in case you’re worried about possibly having the same truck as your neighbor.)

Hennessey is only building 24 of the Philistine-named machines, and at a starting price of $375,000 that’s probably plenty.
Sold the TC, previous owner of 2 NorthStar pop-ups & 2 Northstar Arrows...still have the truck:

2005 Dodge 3500 SRW, Qcab long bed, NV-6500, diesel, 4WD, Helwig, 9000XL,
Nitto 285/70/17 Terra Grapplers, Honda eu3000Is, custom overload spring perch spacers.

Cool truck, wish the front tilt hood would catch on in pickups, makes service soooo much easier. Not sure if I need mrap wheels and tires 😉

Good luck with rear tire wear and steering! If rear axles lock together then the only direction that truck would go is straight.

That nails it for me, I'm not buying it... too expensive to drive because of tolls! ;):C:B

Actually that would work really well in sand, mud, etc.
Biggest issue I see is the front has most of the weight.
Nothing Hennessey is cheap or 100% practical, that’s a rich man’s toymaker.

Neither will work for me. They have light bars/roll bars. My TC won’t fit. 😉

Here is Ford's response
Looks like COG worry are no more issue when you buy 1 of those.

700 or 800+ hp, decisions, decisions?

Good for you you have $375,000 (+ taxes) burning hole in your pocket.
Mercedes makes 6x6 for about a decade and I don't see buyers standing in lines for it, even base model is cheaper than Chevy.
They even don't advertise is much anymore.
Did you notice Chevy has bed floor on level with top of the fenders?
Regardless the weight ratings, that will limit TC to pop-ups only.
