Bit the bullet and traded my wonderful 01 7.3 for a 2015 Duramax 3500 dully. It will be slow to begin with, not suppose to drive more than 55 mph for the first 500 miles and then no more than 50 for the second 500 miles towing. If it is 1/8th as good as the 7.3 I have a whale of a truck. The Chevy has 3:73 rear end and rides great. Wish me luck.

Dennis Dillon GMC in Boise Idaho beat my Texas dealers "supplier invoice" price minus all available rebates on a 2015 2500 diesel. They Texas price was $7000 below MSRP on a brand new 2015 with 30 miles on the odometer. Dillon beat that by another $5000. Couldnt get a dealer in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana or Arkansas to even agree to do a match plus $1000. The deal was legitimate and I went from Dallas to Boise to buy the truck. Check it out for yourself.

How did you happen to price a dealer in Boise?

Randy,
Congrat's on the new truck. The 2015's are quite a step up from previous years with fit and finish and how quiet they are. Happy trails.

It's easy as can be to buy a Dodge (any Chrysler product, really) for 1% below invoice. Just join Tread Lightly, wait a month for your packet, and use that to get a control number from Chrysler.

Actually like the 2014 Dodge. Drove it and loved it. When it came to $ they would not deal. Stated $500 into hold back money, no deal. when they got through the sticker price was back. Ford, really loves their trucks. No way were they were going to deal. Much to my surprise got a 2015 Chevy less than both Ford and Dodge in a 2014 model. Also got a no deductible maintenance for 7 years, unlimited mileage.

Congrats! Duramax ... Equals awesome!! You will only miss the ol 7.3 for a moment after the first pull....if not sooner. But I will also say that 7.3 was the best Ford had and very tried and true...
A truck, a camper, a few toys, but most importantly a wonderful family.
