propane cost

I just paid $22 to fill up my 30 pound / 7 gallon propane tank. How much is everyone else paying out there? This was in Colorado Springs at a propane dealer. The local RV store was $2.00 more. We had relatives staying in the camper last week when it was right at zero. Sucked a lot of gas down keeping it warm.

Here in CA Arco/AMPM has propane for $1.99/gal. Hopefully they keep the prices low......

In the ballpark for around here. The lowest price is tuesday-wed at camping world with camping world card. $2.00/gallon so about $14 for a 30lb tank.

I run up to the local Camping World at Belleville, MI on Tues or Wed and get propane for $1.99 a gallon and fill two #30 each week $31 with tax.

Just recently filled up 2 of my 30 pounders at 2 different businesses. One was an RV dealership, the other was a bait and tackle shop, locations, about 25 miles apart from each other. Cost was about the same ... $21 - $22. (Noblesville and Anderson, Indiana).

All over the map. Five weeks ago I paid $23 for a 40 pounder in Ft. Morgan, CO

Two weeks later - $38 for 40 lbs in Denver.

This week $24 just west of Tucson.

Quite a coincidence - I just filled a 30# at lunch today. Cost me $21 at a propane dealer in a small West TX town. Paid $26 back around Thanksgiving at a propane dealer in El Paso.

Propane prices are getting jacked around just like gasoline and diesel anymore. Price of crude goes up a little.........WOO HOO! they increase the price 10-15 cents overnight. Local U-Haul is selling propane for damn near the same price per gal. as unleaded gasoline, which is currently $3.44/gal at most stations near my home.

Prices here range from $2.65 to $3.30 a gallon for filling a 20-40 lb tank. There's one place here that offers a discount to $2.15 if you buy at least 18 gallons (which requires a 100# tank or multiple smaller ones).

$40 for 2 30#ers at the gas co in central Nebraska about a month ago. $17.95 for 20# in Lincoln Ne, I try and get propane in small towns if possible here.

We've been paying $60 for 100# and we don't pay for the tank rental. Dodge City,KS has been extremely cold, so we've got 2- 100#.
