So many questions

Just saw this on FB. I have so many questions, but mostly just "Why?!?!"

As Jeff Goldblum said:

Your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didnโ€™t stop to think if they should.

I would have had brackets made that allow using the front jacks to tilt the camper back out of the way of the cab. It just looks too strange the way it is even though it makes for cover in the event of rain.

Simplest answer is usually the correct one. I'd say photoshop.

Other than that it was mounted in reverse because it wouldn't clear the cab.

Based on the angle of the tie downs, best be gentle on the throttle and avoid steep hills.

- If driving in the rain, will the back wall with door stay water tight.

After experiencing a hail and rainstorm with 70+ mph winds directly into the rear of my camper without the rear door leaking, I'd have to say he is probably okay.

He may be hasseled for being over length. The way around it would be to tow a utility trailer the same length as the overhang, to ensure he has taillights to the back of the rig. Problem solved with extra space to carry a dirt bike or quad for exploring.

Assuming the center of gravity is over the rear axle, how would it make wheelies easier? Even if it's behind the axle, it's going to be by a small enough amount as to be largely irrelevant.

Only issues I see:
- Black paintjob will get hot in the summer.
- If driving in the rain, will the back wall with door stay water tight.

The rule is Use What You Have! When building your own.

This makes perfect sense and actually should work fine.
The truck cab flips forward to get to the engine so he could not put the camper over the truck.
On the rear he has very good departure angle (driving down a cliff and the rear of the truck does not get stuck on the hill).
The weight of the sleeper section is negligible.
He probably had the camper and had the truck, so this was free...

It is neat. What is the problem?
