A friend once said, "If you are micromanaging your choice of tow vehicle over a few MPGs, or getting annoyed that your current rig gets low MPGs, when towing, then you probably shouldn't be RVing in the first place, because clearly there's some bigger budget issues going in."
I also concur with ARRIVING BEFORE DARK!
I still remember a time when I was probably 4 or 5 years old. The tow rig was mom's work car - a 1969 Delta 88 4 door. It towed a 14' King TT. We arrived after dark, and it was raining. MISERABLE time. All I remember was being carried from the car to the TT, in the rain. Prior to that I must have been asleep in the car.
