Everyone should USE it every time before exiting vehicle of any kind.
Exactly. I've done this for about the past 45 years. Why...why...would anyone not use their parking brake in these situations !

NOT AGAIN. Ford has had trouble in the past with their trucks slipping from Park to reverse. A Washington State Highway patrol officer was killed in Sequim, Wa years ago when a fire truck rolled back over him.
