My TT did not come with a toilet paper holder. Have any of you installed one? What did you install in on? How did you install it?

When attaching to a cabinet door, make sure your screws won't come out the other side.

Did you have to cut out some of your cabinet and did you have to reinforce the cabinet?

Mine came with holder screwed to bathroom door. I couldn't stand it there, because whenever I had the door standing open all the way against the wall, the holder stuck out into the narrow hallway. I moved it to cabinet frame just under lav top at the side of toilet.

We also have a freestanding one - works great. I just put it in the tub, secured while traveling.

I went to Lowes bought a cheap single hanging one... One where the roll just hangs on the bar... Not the spring loaded type... Less stress on the wood screws....

If yours is a "wet" bath, that probably explains why. Wet bath is toilet in same area as shower. Not uncommon in smaller TT's.

On edit:

Just looked at the OP's profile. That ain't no small TT! :S

We did the same except instead of glue I used short wood screws.

We use a free standing holder. Similar to this. They are available from several places. Walmart, Bed Bath and Beyong, Target, Sears, etc
