First time winterizing the camper and I find the fresh water tank drain with a second hose next to it without a valve or cap. What is this, is it an overflow for the freshwater tank fill?

it looks exactly like my new Forest River, and I am going to cut both of them off and make them much shorter.
I'll reinstall the valve

Then your tank is not full it is being pressurized due to POOR venting

Fix your vent line......kinked, too long and has loop, not properly routed etc

Fresh water tanks have overflows, vent and fill
Is it time for your medication or mine?

Yes, fresh water tank is right above these hoses. Sounds like it is the overflow. Thanks all!

I would say it is most likely your fresh water tank overflow. All fresh water tanks must have them.
