Not a sensational deal. MSRP is a very flexible number, but you should be looking at close to 30% discount...maybe a smidge more. Agree that you figure the hitch and other extras separately. Also agree that $27,000 + or - is a reasonable number. He needs to sharpen his pencil.

Question? Is that figure including sales tax or not? That could make some of the difference, but the dealer still needs to get real. Good luck.

IMO $26K out the door would be a very fair price. Your dealer is way over priced.

Paid $24k for mine last year. Negotiate the unit only, buy your own hitch gear.

Rvdirect gave me a quote that was 64% of MSRP, which is 36% off MSRP. They can come down a whole lot on that. I ended up buying locally for a couple hundred dollars more than RVdirect.

Also, go to Jayco's website to determine MSRP, don't believe the dealership that they are quoting a true and correct price.

You are only 2.5 hours from Jayco... you should be able to get WAAAAAAAAAAAAY better pricing. Figure I paid around $1000 to get mine shipped to Maryland...

My local Jayco dealer in Kansas City has a new Flight TR 32 BHDS listed at $29,195 (with elite and thermal package) for comparison.

Get a quote on one from RV Direct with the same options and take it to your dealer as a bargaining point. One thing about buying from a distant dealer is that when it comes to service at your local dealer, they will put your TT at the back of the waiting line. Figure $500-$600 for a generic hitch with installation. Not sure what you mean by "electric brakes for tow vehicle".
