We were just coming back from Gatlinburg, TN heading home and seen a billboard for Anchor Down RV Resort in Dandridge, TN. We turned right to go check it out. What we found was the absolute awsomest RV Resort we have ever seen. The Resort hit the nail on the head when they said "breathtaking views of the Smoky Mountains" and it is on Douglas Lake, which is great because we bass fish!!! It is a brand new resort that opens March 17th, 2014. They are on facebook and you can check out their website at www.anchordownrvresort.com

Sure it looks pretty. But when developing a new campground why jam spots on top of one another? As Im looking at the pics it looks like our two slides would be near or touching the neighbors awning. I don't get it. Obviously they had to cut trees down to develop, but why all of them? Everybody obviously has their taste but I don't do parking lot camping especially at 60-70 dollars a night. Its a shame because its a beautiful location.

We did not see Cowboy's Seafood. Is it a good place to eat? We did see a BBQ place right past the campground but did not stop.
