CGs near NAPA Valley

Hi everyone, we are planning a trip to NAPA the first of October and looking for CGs. We will be in a 45' MH and require 50 amps and full hook ups as we will have another couple with us. Hoping for a place with a little space so we can enjoy sitting out with a glass of wine while barbecuing. Thanks for your suggestions.

Dogs bark all the time when Mom and Dad are out playing. (Ours never do.) As long as it isn't constant or after quiet hours, it would never bother us.

in addition to Napa Valley Expo, there's Skyline Park just outside of the city limits.
it's in a rural area, next to vineyards.

it ain't fancy but has some hookups and larger sites.

i used to work and live close to both places and have stayed at both since moving away.

both have advantages. the Expo is within walking distance to downtown Napa. Skyline is next to hiking trails.

if you have any more questions about Napa or the wineries, send me a PM. the DW worked in the wine industry there.

We were given a written document that said they could not be left alone. Period. And if anyone complained about our dogs, we would be asked to leave. The camp manager seemed to have had some problems with people with pets.

I was very uncomfortable staying there with our dogs.

We have a wedding to attend in the Napa area early Oct. (Sebastapool) and have sites booked at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds which is close to our destination. Probably not as nice as Napa Valley Expo but is another option.

Only negative about the Expo campground is their rule that you may not leave your pet in the RV unattended. Some people hired pet sitters to stay with their animal. We ended up taking them with us when we went for dinner.

We don't leave our dogs alone in the RV long periods, but we don't like to take them with us to stay in the car when we go for groceries or out to dinner.

What I read in their rules;

3. All pets must be kept on a leash at all times when outside (leash not to exceed 6 feet) and kept inside
at night. Pets cannot be left alone outdoors, exhibit excessive barking or allowed around other RVโ€™s. Pets
must be cleaned up after immediately. NO MORE than 3 dogs per siteโ€”no outdoor exercise pens or
grooming. Campers who do not follow these rules will be made to leave.

Key words; Pets cannot be left alone outdoors.

Outdoors.

We like Napa Valley Expo RV Park and it certainly is big rig friendly.

Close to everything we wanted to see.
