Part 1 is over - we're leaving tomorrow for a month in Hill Country northwest of San Antonio. As others have said, RGV weather has been great this year.

We're really lucky - three straight years of fabulous weather for us. We picked RGV, FL and AZ for the good years and missed the poor weather.

Wonder what AZ is going to be next winter - we've booked 4 months!

Not over until the morning of April 16. Then we are on vacation!!! Workamp in the winter, play in the summer. What a lifestyle.

We will not be leaving this year! Staying put in our little paradise. Getting the crab traps ready and after spring break here is over we will enjoy the beach before the tourist season starts when school is out. Yes, it does get Hot, but we have learned how to cope with it. Do any outside chores before 11am, shopping and errands during the heat of the day which includes taking a cooler for any grocery items, then Happy Hour in our fave AC'd Bay front watering hole, then back to our Patio for an evening sit and grilling on the patio with our turbo fan. Life Is Good in South-TX on Copano Bay.

Just got home yesterday from Myrtle Beach (SC), had a great time with all of our winter friends. This year we had better weather than we've had in recent years.

Now we'll get ready for our summer season that starts in the NY Adirondacks at the beginning of May.

There is no end to our RV season/year. Got home today from AZ. We have three weeks for home chores, doctor/dentist appointments, repairs and restocking. Then we are off to UT for three weeks. After putting the MH to bed, we get the travel trailer out for some summer boondocking in the Colorado mountains. After summer in Colorado, we put the trailer to bed and get the MH ready for October in UT. We come back and put the trailer to bed and head to AZ for the winter.

Spent two months in RGV, Great weather. Been here in east Texas for a month, with 3 weeks to go. Other that this last week's rain (10"+) & storms, we've had great weather. Be back in NW Missouri for TAX time.

Won't be leaving Yuma until the end of April as usual. But there was a week of warmer weather to us, hot to our northern friends. So the Canadian ACs were running and they started picking up stakes, just to run into snow in Utah. The Yuma Sun had their annual "state of the union" about the snowbird season this AM. Said the numbers were down a little, but they only interviewed the managers at high end parks. Isn't a true picture by any means.

Picture perfect. Spent time in Alabama, Florida, lower RGV, and currently on the TexOhoma border. Nothing but great weather in all of those places when we were/are there. That's what I call snowbirding.

We suffered through the last two cool damp winters in San Benito and wouldn't you know it? When we had to stay in Ontario this year due to health reasons, you guys had the best winter in years. Our friends in the RGV are asking us to stay away again next year.
