Recently retired one activity we'd like to add to our RV experiences is fishing. At this point we'd rather not get a boat again. Looking for R V parks where shore fishing is possible..........and preferably good! Thoughts?

Best hidden secret I ran across in Champaign when I had to get off the road due to bad weather! :C

I pulled in only to avoid a tornado going thru........ended up staying a week! Fished every single day.

They have their own private lake NO fishing license needed.

If you catch the one eyed bass, take a picture of it you get a free nights stay. Of course you also must release him.

On our trip to Yellowstone last year,we stayed at Olagalla Recreation area in mid state Nebraska. Nice campground under tall trees. Electric hookups and some sites are right on the shoreline.https://nebraskastateparks.reserveamerica.com/camping/lake-mcconaughy-sra/r/campgroundDetails.do?con...

a very good point. some states had daily non-resident licenses that worked out quite well. others had only expensive annual licenses. If a Virginian fished mostly Gaston/Kerr it would be cheaper for him/her to buy a non-resident NC license instead of an annual VA one and he/she would have access to all of NC lakes.
