November Camping in Maryland/Southern PA

I'm looking for campgrounds that stay open with hookups (at least electric) in November and potentially beyond.

Any suggestions are appreciated. I like state parks vs. RV parks unless the RV park is in a nice wooded environment/on water like you're at a state/national park.

Ramblin Pines in Woodstock, MD is a decent place - http://learntorv.com/ramblin-pines-woodbine-md/

I believe that Pine Grove Furnace State Park in Pennsylvania is open all year round, but without utilities. I could be wrong, though.

We are at Pinch Pond CG in Manheim PA. Nice and friendly. Lots of Pull through spaces. Very convenient to Lancaster, Amish Country, The Harley tour in York PA. Fall colors are beautiful.
To get to the CG, you think you're out in the boondocks but it backs up to the Pensy Turnpike. Not bad noise from the traffic. More like a dull hum. We will definitely come back again.

Manor Campground at Cunningham Falls SP, MD, is open all year. It's located just south of Thurmont.

Shennadoah River State park in northern Virginia is open year round. It's a fairly new campground with electric hookups.https://www.yelp.com/biz/shenandoah-river-state-park-bentonville

Check out Gettysburg campgrounds. I believe some are open year round. Lots of great things to do within a two hour drive too.

This was my thought, too, Of the five or six CG's in the area, I believe Artillery Ridge or Round Top may be open year round. Good luck, and let us know how you make out.

Delaware SP in Bethany Beach. We were just there and it is pretty nice, especially the north area. Just 100 miles from the Delaware Mem. Bridge.

Codorus State Park and Gifford Pinchot State Park in southern central PA are open year round, I believe. I'm certain they shut off their water in November at some point, but still offer electric and bath houses to use. Both parks have small lakes.

Patapsco State Park in Ellicott City is open year round, but again no water.

All three are beautiful state parks and reasonably priced and within an hours drive (give or take) of Baltimore.

We usually bring a couple jugs of water to brush teeth, make coffee and for drinking. Usually attendance is pretty sparse, so we are able to get a spot pretty close to the bath house. It will be interesting with some potty training toddlers for the next couple years to try to hold their urine in the morning until daddy gets some pants and jacket on and runs them to the bath house!

Me too - I have been camping local here in the late winter months within a 200 miles radius of Northern Neck Virginia to the South and West only. I can get back off-grid in the Natl Forest spots here I guess all winter long. Don't need any hookups...

My standby place is Westmoreland State Park but the public part closes around mid Nov I think it is.

I need to camp some in MD and PA as well.. CAMP DAVID is on my list for sure... Understand it is public camp grounds to the south and the Pres only to the north...

Will be watching the comments as well...
