Lately there has been a lot of interest in viewing photos of the sites that different campgrounds have to offer. Let's start posting them to this thread and if there seems to be enough interest, perhaps we can make the thread a permanent sticky.

If you have recently posted photos of this sort, please re-post them here. If you have new ones to share, please do!

Don't forget to label the photos: Campground name, site #'s if you know them, area of campground, etc.

**A photo width of 500 works really well.

I am taking the liberty of copying here some recent photos submitted by member 'marites62'.

Fishing Bridge - This is site 60 in the B loop - back-in, full hookups (It can be tough for long trailers and 5th wheels):

More of the same site:

Colter Bay Village - This is site 40, Pull through, full hookups. It is at the end of the loop which was nice.

We just returned from a trip, did 4600 miles and approximately 4200 had the trailer connected. The following picture is from a family cabin located in an old mining town in Montana.

Maybe it's an illusion, but that looks extremely tight.

It's not as tight as it appears in this photo. The site was a little smaller than I would have liked but the tree in the middle of the photo there is actually about 10 feet in front of the camper. The awning did come out to about 2 feet from the neighbors slide out, but there was no one there in that unit for the three days we were there.

The unit behind is at least 20 or so feet away and the gentlemen who were there when we arrived had left the next morning. Both sites on either side of us were members - park their unit for 3 weeks at a time.

The lady at the desk said this was not a pull through site, but apparently someone forgot to tell the site that since I was able to pull right through and unhook, level, and plug it in to electric, water, and sewer in less than 10 minutes.

I wouldn't want to put a larger rig in this site though... :E The trees behind this setup are in bad spots making it real tough on the larger rigs to make the turns needed to get in.

Monakayke - I like that CG in CO. I'll have to look up where it's at. Going through CO in September.

If you want to camp there during weekends...it will most likely be totally booked up. During the weekdays you will find plenty of campsites there available. There are several 'walk-in'/1st come-1st served spots, but these will not have elec. hook-ups, however they are located right next to the river. Prime spots!

BTW...if you want to see photos of our campsite from last year (@ Mountain Park CG) you can view them at this link below:

Hope you have a safe and fun trip to CO in the fall.
HAPPY CAMPING!!
