Lately there has been a lot of interest in viewing photos of the sites that different campgrounds have to offer. Let's start posting them to this thread and if there seems to be enough interest, perhaps we can make the thread a permanent sticky.

If you have recently posted photos of this sort, please re-post them here. If you have new ones to share, please do!

Don't forget to label the photos: Campground name, site #'s if you know them, area of campground, etc.

Picture Posting Help

**A photo width of 500 works really well.

I am taking the liberty of copying here some recent photos submitted by member 'marites62'.

Fishing Bridge - This is site 60 in the B loop - back-in, full hookups (It can be tough for long trailers and 5th wheels):

More of the same site:

Colter Bay Village - This is site 40, Pull through, full hookups. It is at the end of the loop which was nice.

Ferne Clyffe State Park, Goreville, IL, site 39, electric only. Long gravel pad with gravel firepit area. Nice, clean bathhouse:

(Class C behind me is the next site over, so good spacing)

Rend Lake, Wayne Fitzgerrell State park, site 79. Electric Only. Long paved pad. Site on end of peninsula. Near Ina, IL. No shade so not good for summer months. Have to drive to bathhouse.

Is this site in the loop with water and electric hookups? what does the site cost per night?

Yes, it's water and electric. $32/night, standard rate for most VA state parks.

Pismo Beach (Oceano Dunes SVRA):

Not exactly a campsite, but they do take reservations now... You just pick your spot and circle the wagons - but make sure you're above the high-tide line. There's nothing quite like camping on the sand.

I just posted this in another thread, but I thought it was a fun picture here as well.

Nice spot Mike. No need for twenty pictures........Only one, and it's enough to imagine the feeling of being there.
