My hubby was on his computer, probably looking at routes to places and he came across a campground in Salmon, Id (sorry he didn't remember the name of the CG) and besides their nightly fee, they charged 75 cents per slide out. First time I've heard of that one!

Just a guess.... The more slides you have the more AC you will need to cool thus more electric.

That is darn funny. I'd love to know the rationale behind charging a few for slides, but not awnings. Most slides are 24" deep, most awnings are at least 6' deep, ours is closer to 8'.

I can understand charging for using the A/C or heaters, but not for slides.

Next will be how many doors does your RV have haha...

I'm glad we just go to the woods to camp out...

Then we can have coffee and good conversations with our friedns...

Most of the time this is all free but sometimes they want a $5 dollar donation...

When someone tells you to buy the same rig they own, listen, they might be right. When they tell you to buy a different rig then they own, really pay attention, they probably know something you don't.

Well if you have that much info you certainly can come up with the name of the CG.
