On demand water heater installation

does anyone know of a device that will turn off one circuit when another is turned on? I would like to disable my a/c when the on demand water heater is turned on. this will keep me from popping breakers when the water heater kicks on.

Homemade oak chock

Had some scrap oak in the workshop so I laminated some together and the ends at 20% drilled a 1 1/16th hole in the middle and put a 3/4" pipe clamp through it. Seems to work great and looks great too.
