Open Range RVs

My husband has been opposed to even considering an Open Range fifth wheel because the slide system isn't hydraulic. However, I looked at the specs for them and it says the following: Accu-Slide 4-Corner Compression Slide System. Does anyone know what...

How to properly and safely lift a 5er?

I have a bone stock 2010 f350 srw and just bought a 2000 Dutchman classic 26' 5er and it sits high in front and way low in back! I don't want to buy a lower truck or a higher 5er! The hitch and trailer are right about 6-8" from the bed like it is s...

Use a toy hauler as a TT? No toys to haul.

I need a travel trailer but I like the open floor plans of toy haulers. I don't have any bikes or quads but the ramp would be nice to move junk every now and then. Any reason on why not use toy haulers in place of a travel trailer? I can add my own r...

While camping this past week, I woke up Thursday am with the sound of water running. Whet out and cut off the water and had a small lake under the trailer. I traced the water line from the hookups side, thru the basement, down the door side to the r...
